This video that was in support of the EXIT All Weather Cruiser skateboard that I designed and built for riding the wet streets of Oregon. I have always been a fan of rain and a fan of skateboarding, but the too have never been a good combo. With the advent of stainless steel bearings, titanium axle trucks and customized wheels, rain skating is a go. Shot on location in Salem, Oregon. Conept and skateboarding by Jake Hauswirth. I spent an hour one day cruising with Lance Normine in Northwest Portland. We just shot one roll of 16mm film (a little under 3 min of roll time). Shot on Bolex. One light transfer to miniDV for the edit. 2008
